 	Remove/Install
1	Disconnect ground cable of battery
2.1	Remove cover of radio installation slot	With code ER0, radio pre-installation.  Unclip electrical leads from cover
2.2	Remove radio	With code EF5, EF6 or EF7, sound 10, 20 or 30 radio.	AR82.60-D-7502A
3	Remove glove compartment
4.1	Remove stowage compartment below pen holder	Except for code J19/J28, tachograph.
4.2	Remove tachograph	With code J19/J28, tachograph.	AR54.30-D-0001A
5	Remove cover in instrument cluster		AR68.10-D-1550A
6	Remove instrument cluster		AR54.30-D-6015C
7.1	Remove stowage compartment above glove compartment	Except code SA6, front passenger airbag.	AR68.10-D-1515A
7.2	Remove front passenger airbag unit	With code SA6, front passenger's airbag.	AR91.60-D-0680B
8.1	Remove cover for air nozzle on passenger side	With code SA6, front passenger's airbag.	AR68.10-D-1090A
9	Remove loudspeaker		AR82.62-D-7833A
10	Remove cover on center part of instrument panel		AR68.10-D-1190A
11	Remove air conditioning pushbutton control module	 Installation: If the cables for air distribution and heater control have been removed: 	AR83.25-D-1124B
		Adjust air distribution cables.	AR83.10-D-1400-01A
		Adjust heater control cable.	AR83.20-D-1400-01A
12	Remove drawer		AR68.10-D-1195A
13	Remove top part of instrument panel		AR68.10-D-1020B
14	Remove central electric unit		AR54.25-D-1382A
15	Remove air nozzles in instrument panel		AR68.10-D-1110A
16	Remove instrument panel		AR68.10-D-1000A
17	Detach ventilation box and put down on the engine		AR83.10-D-0010-03A
18	Position suitable catch reservoir for coolant below vehicle
19	Remove connections from heater at front		AR83.25-D-1000-01B
20	Remove air ducts		AR83.25-D-1000-02A
21	Expose lead (2) and disconnect connector (3)
22	Unscrew bolts (4)
23	Remove heater housing (1)	 Installation: Ensure that line (3) to ventilation box is routed properly. Check air outlet and check air inlet openings, replace if necessary
24	Install in the reverse order
25.1	Set time on instrument cluster	Except for code J19/J28, tachograph.
26.1	Set time on timer for auxiliary heater	With code H12, hot water auxiliary heater or H86, timer for auxiliary heater.
27	If necessary, code radio
28	Read out DTC memory	 Delete DTC memory if necessary
