Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove/install

Remove wiper arms.

Remove cover (2).

Unscrew bolts (3).

Remove strut (4).

Remove screws (6, 7).

 Bolt, reinforcement to firewall/longitudinal member/reinforcement, center

Remove strut (5).

Remove bolts (8).

 Bolt/nut, windshield wiper system to body

Lift up windshield wiper system (1) and disconnect electrical connector from motor of windshield wiper system (1).

Remove windshield wiper system (1).

Install in the reverse order
