| Remove/install | ||
1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
2 | Remove covers (1). | ||
3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) or electrical connector (3). | ||
4 | Disconnect hose coupling (4) or hose coupling (5). | ||
5 | Remove covers (6) or cover (7) and unscrew nuts located underneath. | Nut, wiper arm to windshield wiper system | |
6 | Remove driver-side wiper arm (9) or passenger-side wiper arm (8). | Installation: Align driver-side wiper arm (9) to the marking (12) or passenger-side wiper arm (8) to the marking (11). | |

7 | Unclip wiring harness of the driver-side wiper arm (9) or passenger-side wiper arm (8) from the respective mounting clamps and route through opening in the air/water duct (10). | Dismantling tool | |
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

9 | Perform function check on windshield wiper system. | ||
