Remove/install

Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof

Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.

Switch off ignition

Remove center curtain rail

Remove cover frame form pop-up roof

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from tilting roof motor (M20)

Unscrew nuts (1)

 When pop-up roof is fastened with nuts (1).



Unscrew bolts

 When pop-up roof is fastened with bolts.



Remove pop-up roof

Check seal on pop-up roof frame and check for damage

 Only if pop-up roof is reused. If seal is damaged:



Replace seal on frame of pop-up roof.

Clean contact surface on cab

Install in the reverse order
