Remove/install all-round seal (1)

Remove sliding roof panel.

Remove all-round seal (1).

 All-round seal (1) is bonded into place.

 Installation: Replace all-round seal (1).
Align all-round seal (1), glue on and press on with roller.

Remove adhesive residues at panoramic sliding sunroof frame using a surface conditioning disk and clean bonding surface.

Topical note

Notes on removing adhesive residues and foils on paint and metal surfaces with surface conditioning disks

 Only use cleaning spray indicated in the EPC.

Install in the reverse order.

Remove/install rear seal (7)

Remove sliding roof panel.

Remove rear seal (7).

 Installation: Replace rear seal (7).
Align rear seal (7), glue on and press on with roller.

Remove adhesive residues at panoramic sliding sunroof frame using a surface conditioning disk and clean bonding surface.

Install in the reverse order.

Remove/install inner rear seal (5)

Remove sliding roof panel.

Unclip inner rear seal (5).


Handle inner rear seal (5) carefully.
In order to prevent damage.

Check inner rear seal (5) for damage.

If damage is detected,



Replace inner rear seal (5).

Install in the reverse order.

Remove/install left and/or right side seal (8, 9)

Open sliding roof panel.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove left side seal (8) and/or right side seal (9).

 Left side seal (8) and/or right side seal (9) is bonded into place.

 Installation: Replace left side seal (8) and/or right side seal (9).
Align left side seal (8) and/or right side seal (9), glue on and press on with roller.

Remove/install inner left seal (2) and/or inner front seal (3) and/or inner right seal (4)

Open sliding roof panel.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove inner left seal (2) and/or inner front seal (3) and/or inner right seal (4).


Handle inner left seal (2) and/or inner front seal (3) and/or inner right seal (4) carefully.
In order to prevent damage.

Check inner left seal (2) and/or inner front seal (3) and/or inner right seal (4) for damage.

If damage is detected,



Replace inner left seal (2) and/or inner front seal (3) and/or inner right seal (4).

Install in the reverse order.

Remove/install front seal (6)

Open sliding roof panel.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove front seal (6).


Handle front seal (6) carefully.
In order to prevent damage.

Check front seal (6) for damage.

If damage is detected,



Replace front seal (6).

Install in the reverse order.
