1 | Open side window (1) of front door (2) by approx. 10 to 20 mm | ||
2 | Check whether top edge of side window (1) is parallel to top section of window guide seal (3) along entire length (arrows A) | ||
3 | Check whether side window (1) is in center between side sections of window guide seal (3) (arrows B) | ||
| Remove | ||
4 | Lower side window (1) far enough until assembly position dimension (a) is reached | Assembly position dimension (a): 100 mm. | |
5 | Remove adhesive foil from inner door panel of front door (2) | ||
Adjust | |||
6 | Loosen bolts (5, 6, 7, 8) | Side window (1) is fixed to power window (4) with bolts (5). | |
7 | Center side window (1) between window guide seal (3) (arrows B) | ||
8 | Move side window (1) until top edge of side window (1) is parallel to window guide seal (3) along entire length (arrows A) | ||
9 | Screw bolts (5) tight | Bolt, side window to window lifter | |
10 | Tighten screw/bolts (6) | ||
11 | Align front guide rail (9) parallel to and free of clearance with respect to side window (1) and tighten bolt (7) | ||
12 | Align rear guide rail (10) parallel to and free of clearance with respect to side window (1) and tighten bolt (8) | ||

13 | Connect driver door control panel in removed door trim with corresponding electrical wiring harness | When checking adjustment of side window (1) on driver side. | |
14 | Close side window (1) of front door (2) with the power window switch until it is still approx. 10 to 20 mm open | ||
15 | Check side window (1) adjustment | If necessary | |

Repeat adjustment procedure. | |||
16 | Disconnect electrical wiring harness from driver door control panel | After checking adjustment of side window (1) on driver side. | |
| Install | ||
17 | Attach adhesive foil to inner door panel of front door (2) |
