Remove/install

Remove rear bench seat

Remove rear door sill molding

Remove sealing frame (1) in area of lower C-pillar trim (2) from body flange

Remove seat belt end fitting from C-pillar

Unclip retaining clips (3) of lower C-pillar trim (2) and center C-pillar trim (4) from C-pillar (arrows A)

Remove lower C-pillar trim (2) behind C-pillar until clips (5) release

Unclip lower C-pillar trim (2) from center C-pillar trim (4) (arrows B)

Guide seat belt strap out of lower C-pillar trim (2) and remove lower C-pillar trim (2)

 Installation:
Install seat belt strap so that it is not jammed or twisted.
Seat belt malfunctions can otherwise occur.

Check retaining clips (3) and clips (5) for damage and that they are correctly seated

If retaining clip (3) and/or clip(s) (5) are damaged.



Replace retaining clip (3) and/or clip(s) (5).

If retaining clip (3) and/or clip(s) (5) are not correctly seated in mounts on lower C-pillar trim (2) or center C-pillar trim (4).



Correctly position retaining clip (3) and/or clip(s) (5).
