Remove/install

Perform commissioning of PARKTRONIC control unit (1).

If the PARKTRONIC control unit (1) is replaced.



Remove trim at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side.

Remove HERMES control unit and move with attached electric lines out of working area.

Model 470 with code EC1 (eCALL Russia (ERA-GLONASS)), model 470 with code EY5 (Mercedes-Benz emergency call system)

Remove screw/bolt (2).

Remove PARKTRONIC control unit (1) with holder (3) far enough until the electrical connector (4) is accessible.

Disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove PARKTRONIC control unit (1) with holder (3).

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function test of PARKTRONIC.
