Remove/install

Connect diagnostic system and commission powertrain gateway control unit (1).

If the powertrain control unit gateway (1) is replaced.



Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Release front passenger seat and tilt backward with connected electric lines.

Unclip electrical wiring harness (arrow A).

Unclip expansion rivets (2).

 Clip remover

Remove cover (3).

Disconnect electrical connectors from powertrain gateway control unit (1).

Unclip expansion rivets (4).

 Clip remover

Release powertrain gateway control unit (1) at side and remove.

Install in the reverse order.
