 	Remove/Install
	There is one repair wiring harness for both diesel and gasoline engines. The wiring harness is designed for a vehicle with full equipment. This means that not all the connectors in the vehicle are connected up.

1	Remove passenger seat	 On removable seats, actuate the release mechanism.	AR91.10-P-1000GC
2	Remove battery	 Do not connect quiescent current retention device.	AR54.10-P-0005GC
3	Release fuse and relay box	 Only up to step 4	AR54.15-P-1255GC
4	Remove right door sill molding		AR68.30-P-4100GC
5	Remove covering in right front footwell	 Refer to:
		Remove/install hands-free system speaker (front passenger footwell)	AR82.62-P-7875GC
6	Remove carpeting on front passenger side
7	Remove bottom section of instrument panel on passenger side	Model 168 until 28.2.01	AR68.10-P-1507GC

10	Release coolant expansion tank and place to one side with coolant hoses connected	Engine 668 only
