Print out "tank system, fuel cell, form event log," fill out, and attach to the vehicle somewhere clearly visible.

Actuate high-voltage disconnect device (S7), as shown in picture sequence (A, B, C), and secure with a shackle-type connector.

 Installation:
Carefully connect high-voltage disconnect device (S7) as shown in picture sequence (D, E, F).
High-voltage disconnect device (S7) will otherwise be damaged.

 Keep the key for the shackle-type lock of the high-voltage disconnect device (S7) in a separate location accessible to authorized personnel only.

 For electrical interruption of tank components.

 Installation: Check high-voltage disconnect device (S7) for damage.

If damage is present,



Remove contacts from coupling housing of high-voltage disconnect device (S7) and replace high-voltage disconnect device (S7).

Remove/install contacts from coupling housing of high-voltage disconnect device.

Remove underfloor paneling from rear axle and/or transmission tunnel underfloor paneling.

Remove screw (3).

 Use protective gloves.

 Bolt, vent tube to valve unit/threaded plug

Remove fuel tank drain line above rear axle (1).

 Use protective gloves.

Unscrew screw (4).

 Use protective gloves.

 Bolt, vent tube to valve unit/threaded plug

Remove fuel tank drain line in rear transmission tunnel (2).

 Use protective gloves.

Unscrew bolt (7).

 Use protective gloves.

 Bolt, vent tube to valve unit/threaded plug

Remove fuel tank drain line in front transmission tunnel (6).

 Use protective gloves.

Replace seal (5) of respective drain line.

 Check seal (5) for damage.

If damage is present,



Replace fuel tank drain line above rear axle (1), and/or fuel tank drain line in rear transmission tunnel (2), and/or fuel tank drain line in front transmission tunnel (6).

Install in the reverse order.
