1 | Remove fuel tank(1). | ||
2 | Remove locking ring(2). | Claw-type wrench | |
3 | Remove fuel pump with fill level sensor (3). | Collect exuding fuel with an absorbent rag. | |
4 | Remove sealing ring (4). | Dispose of sealing ring (4). | |
| Clean | ||
5 | Clean seating of the sealing ring (4) with a clean, lint-free rag. | ||
| Install | ||
6 | Install new sealing ring (4). | ||
7 | Align fuel pump with fill level sensor (3) with the molding (arrow A) to the notch (arrow B) for the fuel tank (1). | ||
8 | Install fuel pump with fill level sensor (3) in the fuel tank (1). | ||
9 | Install sealing ring (2). | To do this, turn sealing ring (2) until the notch (arrow C) between the notches (arrows D) is on the fuel tank (1). | |

10 | Install fuel tank (1). | ||
