Raise vehicle.

Unscrew nut (1).

Mark installation position of jam nut (4) on tie rod (5).

Counterhold tie rod (5) and loosen counternut (4).

Detach ball head (3) from steering knuckle (2).

Remove ball head (3).

 Installation: Clean ball head (3), tie rod (5) and steering knuckle (2) using dry shop towel. Install a new jam nut (4) and screw on at the position marked on the tie rod (5).

Install in the reverse order.

Perform chassis alignment.
