 	Remove/install
 Danger!	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Hoist vehicle with lifting platform until wheels are free
2	Unscrew bolt (1) and remove steering damper (46) from front axle carrier	When removing the right-hand tie rod (10)

3	Pry off tie rod joints (10a) of the respective tie rod (10)	 Installation: Clean grease off the tapers and press tie rod joints (10a) firmly into the pitman arms.	AR46.40-P-0100-02HS

	Checking
4	Check tie rod joints (10a) for play and damaged rubber boots, replace tie rod (10) if necessary
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Perform a wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200H
