1 | Turn steering wheel (1) to straight-ahead position | ||
2 | Switch off ignition | ||
3.1 | Remove cover from steering wheel (1) | Vehicles without code S3A (Driver airbag) | |
The cover is clipped into the steering wheel (1) at four points. | |||
3.2 | Remove airbag (2) | Vehicles with code S3A (Driver airbag) | |
4 | Disconnect electrical connection (3) and pull electrical line (4) out of guides (5) | ||
5 | Remove center bolt (6) | Installation: Install new center bolt (6). | |
Center bolt, steering wheel to steering column | |||
6 | Remove steering wheel (1) | Installation: The steering wheel (1) can only be installed in one position. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order |
