Remove/install

Remove corresponding brake shoes from parking brake.

Remove feed-through grommet (2) from safety clip (3).

Release safety clip (3) and slide in direction of arrow.

 Installation: Check for correct seating of rear brake cable (1) and safety clip (3).

Remove rear brake cable (1) from brake cable (4).

Remove sleeve (5) from brake carrier plate (6).

 Installation: Make sure that the sleeve (5) is seated correctly.

Remove rear brake cable (1).



Check

7

Check safety clip (3) for damage.

If damage is found,



replace the safety clip (3).

Install in the reverse order.
