Disconnect front brake cable from pulley unit

 Do not detach the rear brake cables.

Unhook rear retracting spring (5)

Remove brake shoes

 Pull brake shoes apart at bottom and remove with adjuster (6).

 Installation: Ensure that the cable lock (4) moves easily.

 Preassemble the retracting spring with the short hook eye (3) from the inside together with the adjuster (6, adjuster gear wheel at the bottom). Mount brake shoes pre-installed in this way, onto the brake carrier.

Install in the reverse order

Adjust parking brake

Build up brake pressure

 Depress brake pedal several times.

Check fluid level in reservoir and correct if necessary



Hydraulic brake system - check fluid level, correct if necessary
