Remove wheel

Release parking brake

Remove plug of brake wear indicator

 Only for code (J53) Brake wear indicator.

Remove shields (1)

Reset brake shoe (5)

 Turn adjusting screw (2) until the brake drum (4) can be detached.

 Installation: Adjust clearance.

Mark wheel hub and brake drum (4) relative to each other

Press off brake drum (4) with three bolts (3)

 Use bolts (3) M121.5.

 Installation: Note marking on brake drum (4) and wheel hub.

Clean brake drum (4) and brake shoes (5)


