	Removing
1	Remove wheel		AR40.10-W-1100A
2	Remove retaining bracket from brake pads		AR42.10-W-0170-04H
	Checking
3.1	Press inner brake pad (10) using suitable tool up against brake disk (2)	Disk brake SB 5000  The clearance is measured between the thrust piece (13) and the pad backing plate for the inner brake pad (10).
3.2	Press outer brake pad using suitable tool up against brake disk (2)	Disk brake SN 5000  The clearance is measured between the brake caliper (1) and the pad backing plate for the outer brake pad (10).
4	Check clearance (A) across total surface of pad backing plates	 To avoid any faulty measurements two feeler gauges (14) (length 220 mm) must be used simultaneously for the measurement. Otherwise the brake may malfunction.

		 If necessary, adjust clearance (A).

5	Position box wrench and adjust adjuster using hexagon adapter far enough until the clearance (A) is reached	 Both feeler gauges (14) must make contact across the total surface of the pad backing plates.	AR42.10-W-0190-01H

	Install
