Remove brake pads

Check adjusting thread of threaded tubes for corrosion

Check bellows (2) for signs of damage and correct seating of thrust piece (1)

Penetration of dirt and moisture lead to corrosion and impairs the slack adjuster functionality.

If necessary, replace the bellows:

Remove/install boot.

Turn thrust piece (1) counterclockwise all way in by way of the brake adjuster with the adapter

Install brake linings

Check function and effectiveness of service brake
