2 | Unscrew threaded pipes with thrust pieces (2) through altering the adjuster far enough to enable the boots (3) of the thrust pieces (2) to become clearly visible | Adjust the adjuster using a box wrench and a hexagon adapter only and unscrew the threaded pipes with thrust pieces (2) no more than a max. 30 mm. Otherwise the adjuster may be damaged and the brake caliper (4) will need to be replaced. | |
3 | Inspect boots (3) and thrust pieces (2) | If the thrust pieces (2) with boots (3) are damaged or sluggish replace them: | |

4 | Screw threaded pipes with thrust pieces (2) all the way in by altering the adjuster | Adjust the adjuster using a box wrench and a hexagon adapter only. Otherwise the adjuster may be damaged and the brake caliper (4) will need to be replaced. | |
