Determine the axial runout on the outside and inside of the brake disks

Unscrew 2 bolts for installing the assembly plate (4) on the brake carrier of the disk brake and install assembly plate

Install brake disk lathe (3) on the assembly plate (4)

 For installing and removing and the turning process, observe the operator's manual of the brake disk lathe manufacturer.

Install drive bracket (2) of the brake disk lathe (3) on the wheel hub

Connect drive unit (1) to drive bracket (2)

Risk of death caused by being drawn into rotating vehicle parts

Do not insert your hand into rotating parts.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Secure area of rotating vehicle components against unauthorized access.

Skimming brake disk

 Adjustment dimension: 1/10 to 3/10 mm.

Skim the brake disk on both sides until a smooth surface is achieved.

Detach brake disk lathe (3) and drive bracket (2)

Detach assembly plate (4) and tighten the 2 bolts of the brake carrier again


