 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

First disconnect brake hose (51) at brake line (5) and then at fixed caliper (31)

 Plug connections immediately.

Brake fluid reservoir must not empty completely.

Disconnect right rear brake pad contact sensor (S10/4) at contact sensor connector (S10/4x1)

 Installation: Install transparent (temperature resistant) version of contact sensor (S10/4).

 On model 202.028 with ASR as of 09/95 the contact sensor on the rear fixed brake caliper is discontinued.



Unscrew right rear contact sensor (S10/4x1) connector

Unscrew fixed caliper (31) from wheel carrier

 Installation: Replace microencapsulated bolts (35).
