Remove/install

Unscrew cap from brake fluid reservoir

Remove each front wheel

Remove bolt (1) and remove front left brake pad wear sensor (S10/1) or front right brake pad wear sensor (S10/2) and the wear indicator cable (2)

Remove brake hose (3)


Seal line end and connection thread at brake caliper (5) with stop plug.
Otherwise the brake system may fail due to contamination.

 Installation:
Do not install the brake hose (3) twisted and make sure that it can move freely.
Otherwise, the brake hose (3) may be damaged and the brake system may malfunction.

 Installation: Check the brake hose (3) for cracks and chafe marks.

Replace brake hose (3).

Remove brake caliper (5)

 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).

 Installation: Replace screws/bolts (4).
