Remove

Remove center and rear lower engine compartment lining.

Perform articulation angle measurement on a vehicle measurement lift/pit.
Otherwise the measurement results will be false.

Remove exhaust system.

Remove heat shield under front half of propeller shaft.



Measure

Prepare articulation angle meter.

Check articulation angle meter and adjust if necessary.

 See operating instructions for the inclinometer.

Measure angle at automatic transmission.

Measure angles at front and rear halves of propeller shaft.

Measure angle at housing of rear axle differential.

Read out all articulation angles ( 1,  2,  3) from memory of articulation angle meter and note down.
