Remove/install

Detach filler connection (1) from sleeve (2)

Unscrew sleeve (2)


Do not use an impact wrench.
Otherwise the threads on the sleeve (2) and wheel hub may be damaged.

 Installation:
Replace O-ring on sleeve (2) and coat with multipurpose grease.
Coat thread on sleeve (2) with sealant.

Loctite 5203 sealant

*BR00.45-Z-1015-01A

MB multipurpose grease, 400 g

*BR00.45-Z-1017-06A



Check

Check radial shaft sealing rings in sleeve (2) for damage or wear

If there are problems:



Replace radial shaft sealing rings in sleeve (2).

Install in the reverse order
