1 Tighten slotted nut (1) with suitable  claw wrench while turning rear wheel hub continuously and tapping rear wheel hub with rubber hammer in a crosswise pattern  .

 The tapered roller bearings settle free of play when this is done.

2 Loosen inner slotted nut (1) around  (α).
