7 | Remove rear wheel hub (3) and outer tapered roller bearing (4) | Use a suitable lifting device to secure rear wheel hub (3). | |
8 | Remove ABS measuring ring | ||
9 | Remove radial seal (2) | ||
10 | Remove oil retainer (10) from rear wheel hub (3) | ||

11 | Remove thrust ring (1) | Heat the thrust ring (1) to remove it. | |
| Install | ||
12 | Coat seat surface of the thrust ring (1) on the axle tube with sealant | Adhesive | |

13 | Install new thrust ring (1) | Heat the thrust ring (1) to between 100 and 120 °C. | |
14 | Slide new heated up thrust ring (1) until it abuts with the axle tube | Press on new heated up thrust ring (1) until it has cooled down to the extent that its installation position does not change anymore. | |
15 | Check distance of thrust ring (1) until it abuts with the axle tube | ||

16 | Insert new oil retainer (10) in the rear wheel hub (3) | ||
17 | Check tapered roller bearing | ||
| Replace grease of rear axle wheel hub, check tapered roller bearings | ||
18 | Install new radial sealing ring (2) | Check drift if necessary: | |
Incorporate groove in the drift. | |||

19 | Install ABS measuring ring | ||
20 | Slide rear wheel hub (3) onto the axle tube | Ensure that the sealing lip of the sealing ring (2) is not damaged. | |
21 | Install outer tapered roller bearing (4) | Grease lightly with multipurpose grease. | |
22 | Screw on inner slotted nut (5) | ||
23 | Adjust wheel bearing play | Oil new locking plate lightly (6). The locking pin of the locking plate (6) must point outwards. | |
24 | Secure inner slotted nut (5) and outer slotted nut (7) | By hammering the locking plate (6) into suitable grooves of the inner slotted nut (5) and outer slotted nut (7). | |
25 | Clean sealing surface on flange of rear axle shaft (9) and rear wheel hub (3) | ||
26 | Coat sealant on the sealing surface on the flange of the rear axle shaft (9) and rear wheel hub (3) | ||
27 | Install rear axle shaft (9). | Use new bolts (8). | |

29 | Install brake carrier with brake caliper | ||
30 | Mount wheels | ||
