Machining

Check steering-knuckle pin bores in axle beam end

 If the bores are worn out: 

Replace front axle beam.

Machine steering knuckle

 If the contact surfaces of the steering knuckle have been cut, rework them using a file or a machine set up for the task. While doing so care must be taken to check for exact parallelism of the upper surface relevant to the lower surface and the angularity to the steering knuckle bore.
