Remove/install

Raise vehicle at front axle until wheels can be rotated freely and support vehicle at vehicle frame

Remove wheels

Detach drag link from steering arm

 The drag link detaches suddenly when it is pressed off.

 Nut, drag link to steering arm

Remove ABS sensors

Detach brake wear sensor (4)

Only vehicles with disk brakes.

Detach compressed air lines (6) from brake cylinders

Secure front axle to prevent it falling

Remove both bearing caps (1) and fold stabilizer bar (3) downwards

 Bolt of bearing cap to spring pad

Detach both air suspension supports

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (5).

Lower front axle and pull out from under the vehicle

Install in the reverse order

Check steering stop, adjust if necessary
