27 | Replace O-ring between pinion flange (6) and axle tube (5) | ||
28 | Coat drive pinion on pinion flange (6) with running-in paste | Molybdenum disulfide running-in paste | |
29 | Insert pinion flange (6) with shims and O-ring into axle tube (5) and fix in place on the axle tube (5) with a bolt | The notch (7) on the pinion flange (6) must point upwards in the installation position of the front axle. | |
30 | Coat both axle tubes (5) with sealant | Sealant, bracket to special drive cap | |
31 | Put both axle tubes (5) together and tighten screws/bolts (2) uniformly | Bolt, axle tube to axle tube | |
32 | Replace O-ring between pinion flange (6) and torque tube (4) | ||
33 | Coat sealing surface between pinion flange (6) and torque tube (4) with sealant | Sealant, bracket to special drive cap | |
34 | Attach drive shaft and torque tube (4) to the differential housing | Observe the marked installation position. | |
