 	Remove/install
 Installation	Replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
1	Remove front wheels
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050AK
2	Detach bracket (2) from suspension strut (1)
3	Detach connecting rod (3) from spring strut (1)		*BA32.20-P-1003-02K
4	Detach spring strut (1) from steering knuckle (5)	 Place rag between frame-type integral support and transverse control arm in order to prevent damage to paintwork of frame-type integral support and transverse control arm.

5	Remove bolts (8)		*BA32.25-P-1002-04J
6	Squeeze catch (arrow) together and remove suspension strut (1)
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Perform wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200AK
9	Check headlamp setting; correct it if necessary	Only on vehicles with code (614) Bi-xenon headlamp unit or code (615) Bi-xenon headlamp unit with integrated curve illumination
	Check and correct the adjustment of the headlamps		AP82.10-P-8260AK
