4 | Remove bolts (3) and remove torsion bar (1) from torsion bar linkage (4) | ||
5 | Remove clamps (5) and elastomer bearing (6) | ||

6 | Clean bearing points of torsion bar (1), torsion bar linkage (4), clamps (5) and elastomer bearing (6) | The bearing points of the torsion bar (1) must be free of grease. | |

7 | Check bearing points of torsion bar (1), torsion bar linkage (4), clamps (5) and elastomer bearing (6) for damage and wear | If damaged or worn | |

8 | Mount elastomer bearing (6) | ||
| Changed rubber mount on torsion bar of rear axle | ||
Use elastomer bearing (6) only for torsion bushing. Align elastomer bearing (6) in middle of markings, with opening facing upward. | |||
9 | Mount clamps (5) to elastomer bearings (6) | For easy mounting, wet the elastomer bearing (6) on the outside with water. | |
If the bushing has not yet been converted to a torsion bushings. | |||
