Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Remove paneling in driver side footwell (2) around the steering column

Remove paneling (1)

For previous version of foot throttle actuator (B1) only.

Remove foot throttle actuator (B1)

Disconnect electrical connector (3) of the foot throttle actuator (B1) at the multipoint connector

Disconnect electrical connector (3) from foot throttle actuator (B1)

Install in the reverse order

Teach in foot throttle actuator (B1) using STAR DIAGNOSIS

Only when replacing previous version of foot throttle actuator (B1).

Read out fault memory in the drive control, control unit with STAR DIAGNOSIS and delete faults if necessary
