Mechanical engine control
1.1 Depress accelerator pedal until resistance can be felt (with mechanical engine control).
1.2 Turn steering wheel lock into drive position and depress accelerator pedal until the pressure point of the position sensor can be felt (if electronic throttle control fitted).
In this position, the throttle control lever (1) of the injection pump must be resting against the full throttle stop screw (2), carry out adjustment of linkage, if necessary.

2.1 If linear actuator is fitted, it may be necessary to depress control lever of injection pump with greater force.
If the engine is switched off, the frictional forces in the injection pump may be greater than the spring load of the linear actuator.
3 If the injection pump is in the full-load position, a gap (a) must be provided at the accelerator pedal between the stop screw (3) and vehicle floor, carry out adjustment of linkage, if necessary.
