Danger!

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove pedal assembly

 Avoid brake fluid and soiling in interior.

Unhook retracting spring (1) from brake pedal

Remove pin lock (2)

Remove clutch pedal switch (S40/3)

Remove pin (3) from pedal bracket

 Check pin (3) for signs of wear, replace if necessary.

 Installation: Apply light coating of grease to pin (3) during installation.

Remove brake pedal (4)

Remove pad (5)

 Check cover (5) for signs of wear, replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order
