

Remove screws (4).

Remove radial shaft sealing ring from output flange for front axle.

Remove front cap (2) from intermediate housing (6).

Remove output flange.

Remove rear cap (1) from intermediate housing (6).

Remove radial shaft sealing ring from output flange for rear axle.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring from transfer case input shaft.

Clean sealing surfaces and check for damage.

Assembly cleaner

If damage is found,



replace transfer case.



Install

Apply sealant.

Attach rear cap (1) to intermediate housing (6).

 Bolt, front transfer case cover to transfer case

Install radial shaft sealing ring at output flange for rear axle.

Attach output flange.

Install transfer case.
