Remove rear engine mount

Remove coolant lines (6) from transfer case (1); seal openings and lines

 Installation: Replace seals.

Release and disconnect electrical connector from all-wheel drive control unit (N45)

Release and disconnect electrical connector from transmission oil temperature sensor (B91)

Lower transmission (3) until all bolts (2) around the circumference of the transfer case (1) are accessible

Unscrew bolts (2) and remove transfer case (1)

 The aid of a second person is required for disconnection and connection at the flange of the front axle propeller shaft (5).

Remove all-wheel drive control unit (N45)

When replacing transfer case (1).
