1 | Remove oil pan of automatic transmission (2) | ||
2 | Pry shift cable ball socket (1) off ball head on selector lever rod (3) using a suitable tool | Installation: Grease ball head and shift cable ball socket (1). | |

3 | Remove bolt on detent plate (4) | Adjust selector lever rod (3) if necessary. | |

4 | Pull selector lever rod (3) out of transmission housing | Installation: Check radial shaft sealing ring.(5) and replace if necessary: | |
Remove/install shift shaft radial shaft sealing ring | |||
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
