2 | Detach heat shield on automatic transmission | ||
3 | Pry shift cable ball socket (1) off ball head (3) on transmission using a suitable tool. | Installation: Grease ball head (3) and shift cable ball socket (1). | |

4 | Pry shift cable (2) off bracket on transmission (5) using a suitable tool | Separate cable tie if necessary. | |
Installation: Replace the locking plate (4) and, if necessary, the cable ties. | |||
5 | Remove selector lever with bearing bracket | Installation: Install the selector lever with bearing bracket far enough so that it is possible to adjust the shift cable (2). Only install the other parts after adjustment of the shift cable (2). | |
6 | Remove rubber boot (6) on body | Installation: Ensure correct seating of rubber boot (6). | |
7 | Remove shift cable (2) upwards | Installation: Ensure correct routing of shift cable (2) | |
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
