(measuring range up to 10 bar).

Check

The regulator pressure acts on the command valves and actuates the upshifts.

The regulator pressure is regulated by the centrifugal governor.

The pressure level varies depending on the centrifugal force, i.e., the pressure rises and falls depending on the vehicle speed.

Check vacuum control.

Heat transmission up to operating temperature.

Correct oil level in transmission

Connect test equipment for regulator pressure.

Measuring range up to 10 bar.

Remove screw plug (R) with sealing ring (5) for test connection for regulator pressure.

Connect pressure line (7) of test equipment with banjo bolt (4) and sealing rings (5) to test connection modulating pressure.

Replace sealing ring.

Measure with pointer instrument

On the roller dynamometer drive at the speeds specified in the tables and read off pressure values.

When fastening the test equipment in the cab, the difference in height from the test equipment to the transmission means that 0.1 bar for each meter must be added to the pressure value readings.

If no regulator pressure is displayed or if the pressure values deviate from the values specified in the tables, the centrifugal governor must be cleaned or replaced.

Remove/install centrifugal governor

Disconnect measuring instrument in reverse order.


Replace all sealing rings.
