Removing

Detach transmission housing (2) from torque converter housing.

Remove snap ring (5s)

Remove disk pack B3 (5)

Remove disk spring (5t)

Remove bolts (6S)

Remove multi-disk brake B2 (6).

Remove park pawl gear (7).



Checking

Check disks of disk pack B3 (5) for scorch marks and wear

 Replace worn or burnt disks with new disks:

Check disks of multi-disk brake B2 (6) for scorch marks and wear.

 Replace worn or burnt disks with new disks:



Disassemble/assemble multi-disk brake B2

Install

Install park pawl gear (7).



Measure

Measure and adjust clearance of multi-disk brake B2 (6).
