Remove

Remove planetary gear set 1 with multiplate clutch K81 (2) and multidisk brake B08.

Disassemble/assemble

Clamp thrust device into vise.

Attach inner plate carrier (1) with multiplate clutch K81 (2) to pressure device.

Attach thrust piece (3) to inner plate carrier (1).

Push down thrust piece (3) far enough until snap ring (4) is exposed.

Remove snap ring (4) using pliers (5).

Remove thrust piece (3).

Remove inner plate carrier (1) with multiplate clutch K81 (2).

Remove undulated washer (6).

 Assembly: Pay attention to proper installation position

Attach thrust piece (7) to disk spring (9) and push down far enough until snap ring (8) is exposed.


The lugs (arrows) must engage in the disk spring (9).
Otherwise, the disk spring (9) may be damaged when being pushed down.

 The lugs (arrows) are used to align the disk spring (9) with the hub.

Push down thrust piece (7) far enough until snap ring (8) is exposed.

Remove snap ring (8).

Remove thrust piece (7) and take out snap ring (8).

Remove spring retainer (10).

 Assembly: Pay attention to proper installation position

Remove disk spring (9).

 Assembly: Pay attention to proper installation position

Remove spring retainer (11).

Remove piston (13).

Remove hub (14) from pressure device.

Replace sealing rings (12, 15).

Assemble in the reverse order.

Measure

Measure and adjust clearance of multiplate clutch K81 (2).
