2 | Remove electrohydraulic controller unit | ||
3 | Detach transmission housing (9) from torque converter housing | ||
4 | Remove retaining ring (1) | ||
5 | Remove clutch pack B3 (A) and disk spring (5) from transmission housing (9) | Check disks for scorch marks and wear and replace if necessary. | |
6 | Remove screw/bolts (12) | ||
7 | Remove multidisk brake B2 (6) from transmission housing (9) and check | The external plate carrier of multidisk brake B2 (6) is also the piston for multidisk brake B3. | |
If any damage or defects are found: | |||

Disassemble/assemble multi-disk brake B2 (6). | |||
8 | Remove park pawl gear (7). | ||
| Assemble | ||
9 | Install park pawl gear (7). | ||
10 | Install multidisk brake B2 (6) in transmission housing (9) | The elongated hole in the multidisk brake B2 (6) must be exactly under the bore (13) (arrows). | |
11 | Tighten bolts (12) | First fit screws/bolts (12) by hand, then tighten to the specified torque. | |
Screw/bolt, multi-disk brake B2 to transmission housing | |||
12 | Install disk spring (5). | The cone must face towards the output side. All three drivers must engage in a groove. | |
13 | Insert and measure clutch pack B3 (A) |
