2 | Heat grub screws (4) in notch lever (6) and unscrew | Assembly: Replace microencapsulated grub screws (4). Only tighten the grub screws (4) when the adjustment of the shift finger (center position) is complete. | |
3 | Remove bolt on the detent segment (2) | Assembly: Replace microencapsulated bolt. | |

4 | Press notch lever (6) off seat in detent segment (2) and detach | Assembly: Insert the notch lever (6) so that the holes for the grub screws (4) accurately align with the blind holes in the gearshift tube (7). | |
5 | Pull catch bolt (3) and compression spring out of notch lever (6) | Assembly: Grease push spring lightly. | |
6 | Detach outer bearing cap (1) from gearshift tube (7) | Assembly: Before the gearshift tube (7) is pushed into the outer bearing cap (1), the upper left collar bolt must be pushed into the associated bore for the subsequent fixing of the outer bearing cap (1). | |
7 | Press detent segment (2) out of outer bearing cover (1) | Assembly: The notch on the detent segment (2) must point towards the drive side. | |
Assembly: Grease the contact surface of the catch bolt (3) lightly. | |||
8 | Press radial sealing ring out of outer bearing cover (1) using a screwdriver | Assembly: Replace radial sealing ring. | |
9 | Remove the needle roller bearing (5) from the outer bearing cap (1) using a suitable drift | ||
10 | Remove circlip from gearshift tube (7) | ||
11 | Detach washer, spring and second washer in sequence | ||
12 | Clean all parts, check for wear and replace if necessary | ||
13 | Assemble in the reverse order |
