1 | Clean transmission in area of shift track housing (1) | ||
2 | Detach ball socket from gearshift lever on shift track housing (1) | ||
3 | Remove bolts (2) | | |
4 | Remove shift track housing (1) | Installation: Coat sealing surface between bearing housing (5) and shift track housing (1) with sealant. | |
5 | Remove roll pin (4) | When knocking the roll pin (4) in or out, the shift shaft must be supported using a suitable tool otherwise damage to the shift shaft can occur. | |
6 | Remove carrier ring (3) | Mark installation position of carrier ring (3). | |
Installation: Observe identification to determine installation position. | |||
7 | Remove bearing housing (5) | Installation: Coat sealing surfaces between bearing housing (5) and transmission housing with sealant. | |

8 | Clean sealing surfaces on bearing housing (5), shift track housing (1) and transmission housing | ||
| Checking | ||
9 | Check shift track housing (1) for proper operation and replace if necessary | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order |
