1 | Shift transmission to neutral | ||
2 | Unclip shift lever boot (3) and slide upward at gearshift lever | | |
For this purpose, lift corner slightly and simultaneously press toward inside at side. Then remove the sleeve frame from the cover by moving back and forth. | |||
Adjust | |||
3 | Lift lock tabs (4) and push zero position catch (5) downward | The zero position catch (5) is located at correct position when gearshift lever can no longer be moved. | |
4 | Raise vehicle | ||
5 | Push lock tabs (7) and sliding pieces (6) forward until they engage | ||
6 | Press lock tabs (7) | The sliding pieces (6) slide into the basic position. | |
7 | Lower vehicle | ||
8 | Push zero position catch (5) upward until lock tabs (4) engage | ||
9 | Check that shift mechanism is functioning correctly; repeat adjustment if necessary | The transmission (2) must shift smoothly. | |
