Remove input shaft with gear wheel (1)

Pull tapered roller bearing (2) off input shaft with gear wheel (1)

 Heat inner race of tapered roller bearing (2) using hot air gun.

Pull tapered roller bearing (2) off input shaft with gear wheel (1).

 Assembly: Heat inner race of tapered roller bearing (2) to approx. 120 °C and push onto input shaft with gear wheel (1).

When it has cooled, the tapered roller bearing (2) must lie against the stop of the input shaft with gear wheel (1).



Remove circlip (5) and remove oil guide (4) from input shaft with gear wheel (1)

Remove air flow sensor plate (3)

 Assembly: Mount air flow sensor plate (3) all the way onto the input shaft with gear wheel (1) using a suitable drift.

Clean all parts and check for wear.

 Replace parts if necessary.

Assemble in the reverse order
