3 | Unscrew power take-off 2 indicator switch (S79) and remove sealing ring | Assembly: Replace seal. | |

4 | Remove thrust piece (26) from housing (1) | ||
5 | Detach shift cylinder (10) | ||
6 | Remove flange (11) and remove seal (12) | Assembly: Clean the sealing surface and install a new seal (12). | |

8 | Disassemble power take-off 2 output shaft (15) | ||

9 | Unscrew screw plug (28) and remove sealing ring. | Assembly: Replace seal. | |

10 | Remove both plugs (2) from housing (1) using a suitable drift. | Assembly: Coat both stop plugs (2) with thread locking compound and install flush in the housing (1). | |

11 | Remove roll pin (25) from shift fork (23) through the housing (1) using a suitable drift. | Piston with shift rod (7) is spring-loaded. | |
12 | Remove piston with shift rod (7), spring cup (3), spring (4), and washer (5) from housing (1) | Assembly: Replace sealing ring (6) and slide ring (8) then grease with lubricant. | |

13 | Remove oil pipe (24) | Screw a bolt into the oil pipe (24) and pull it out together with the oil pipe (24). | |
14 | Remove centering ring (22) | Assembly: Install the centering ring (22) flush with the housing (1). | |
15 | Remove gear (19) with sliding sleeve (20) | Pull out the shift fork (23) as far as possible through the opening of the screw plug (28). | |
16 | Check cylindrical roller bearing race (18.1) on the gear (19) | ||
If necessary, replace cylindrical roller bearing (18) and Check cylindrical roller bearing race (18.1). | |||
17 | Remove shift fork (23) | ||
18 | Remove cylindrical roller bearing (18) | Assembly: Install the cylindrical roller bearing (18) using a suitable drift. | |
