Disassemble

Remove sliding sleeve (29) from driver (30).

Remove shim (31) from drive shaft (25).

Remove driver (30) and gear (27) from drive shaft (25).

Remove needle roller bearings (26 and 28) from the drive shaft (25).

Assembly

Check contact surfaces of needle roller bearings (26 and 28) and of cylindrical roller bearing on drive shaft (25); replace drive shaft (25) if necessary.

Mount needle roller bearings (26 and 28) on the drive shaft (25).

Mount gear wheel (27) and driver (30) on the drive shaft (25).

Install circlip (35) on the drive shaft (25).

Insert ball bearing (32) between driver (30) and retaining ring (35).

Using feeler gauge, measure dimension between ball bearing (32) and retaining ring (35).

 The shim to be installed must be smaller by the specified value for the axial play than the determined dimension. The objective is to have an axial play at the lowest tolerance limit.

Detach retaining ring (35) from drive shaft (25).

Mount selected shim (31) on the drive shaft (25).

Mount the sliding sleeve (29) on the driver (30).

 Observe installation position of round gearing (arrow).
